SORRY! :[

Ugh, so i know i've been lagging lately, but it's not my fault! i swear! i'm temporarily staying with my parents until we find a place of our own, and although the 5 acres of land and privacy are great, internet service blows! we just got internet yesterday [my parents are extremely old school, and don't bother with things like internet lol.], but since it's kind of outside of the city we were only able to get at&t's usb internet! boooooo. it blows! sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. there's a limit as to how much i can use things like youtube and hulu, and it's extremely slow compared to cable, so unfortunately i can't upload vids at home.  i've recorded a video on reviews for products i've been using which i plan to upload either tomorrow or sunday.  i'll also be working on some more hair tutorials as well.  but, all i have right now are some pictures. :[ better than nothing at least... or i hope. lol it's snowy and cold here and i miss sunny SD already! oh well, i'll enjoy it while i can. :]

Hello, Oregon!

So, we're way ahead of schedule and find ourselves in Oregon sooner than we expected. This usually always happens to us, we're those people who are extremely, obnoxiously way early for everything. we could've drove to Seattle in one night! We had planned to be there by Friday, but from the looks of things, we'll be there tomorrow! We even stopped driving at like 6:30pm and nestled into a hotel to kill time. But, needless to say, I am sooooo excited to see my gf Charr in Seattle! It's going to be a fun filled weekend so stay tuned for updates! Anyway, i'll keep this post short, more to come soon! :D

GAHHHHH! so busy!

So, as some of you may know, i'm currently in the process of moving. Tomorrow will be my last day here in SD. :[ i've been packing, cleaning, and just getting organized and ready to pick up and leave this beloved place. i'll definitely be back, that's for sure. just have some opportunities and what not that are unfortunately located elsewhere. so i'm sorry for slacking on the blogs! once i get situated i'll be back up and running again. :] oh, and i also got my circle lenses! at first i really wasn't crazy about them, i felt like i looked like a crazed alien. lol still not 100% sold on them, but they're definitely growing on me. i'm really not sure what all the hype is about them though, they're kind of freakish in my opinion <:P

i took a brief break from cleaning to take some photos of my boyfriend's new fetish. lol. i popped out the lenses on some 3D glasses, and put them on as a joke, but he insisted i keep them on. i've been wanting to get new prescription glasses since mine are all scratched up and old, and i really wanted some rayban ones... wayfayers i think? you know, the ones shaped like those oh so popular rayban sunglasses these days. anyway, here's a snapshot of me with my very cool 3D glasses lol.

oh, and i have on my circle lenses here. :] i know, i look like a goofball, but i like being a goofball ;] andddd i had to post something! it's been awhile!

MY FIRST VIDEO!! :D

Last night, my boyfriend bought me a new camera, and I decided to make my first video today! I get questioned a lot on how I curl my hair, so I did a quick tutorial on that. Uh, hello amazing bundle of melt in your mouth chocolaty goodness. So, if you haven't tried TimTams yet, you definitely are missing out. They're a popular Australian cookie that has graced it's deliciousness onto American soil. That's right, you can find them at Target, sometimes at Walmart, but usually always at Target. I prefer the Chocolate Creme over the Caramel, but either way... get some! But wait, it gets better...

BEHOLD THE TIMTAM SLAM!!

You might think I'm insane for glorifying this little cookie, but until you have had a TimTam slam, you won't understand. Here's the deal, you get a hot beverage of your choice ie: hot chocolate, warm milk, or my personal favorite coffee. Nibble both ends of the cookie so that both ends are straight across, and use the cookie as a straw, kind of like red vines and soda. When you feel the warm beverage come up, hurry and pop the whole cookie in your mouth. YUM! it's pure ecstasy. I'll even provide a link to demonstrate how to properly do a TimTam slam. Yes, it's that serious. LOL.

Last night I ordered a pair of World Series circle lenses in green. I opted for ones that wouldn't make me look like a possessed freak lol. Hopefully I'll get them soon and post pictures, yay! I ordered mine on LensCircle.com (but to be quite honest, they have the same kind, and more, on pinkyparadise.com for a lot cheaper!). andddd the pinkparadise ones come with a cute animal shaped case! i know, i was really bummed when i found that out. Regardless, I'm excited to try them out.

I bought the first season of Glee, and I LOVE it! haha. I think I'm fond of all things musical, and I'm definitely not ashamed to admit it. lol.

We went out and got some groceries earlier today, and I snapped a picture in the car. I always wondered what the heck FOTD stood for... and I think I've figured it out! Face Of The Day? Now, who came up with these anyway? whatever, here's my face for today lol.

Pretty simple. Just some bronzy, gold, with some neutral browns. I know, not the best picture to show makeup. I used almost all MAC products. It's hard to tell from the picture, but I'll list all of the products I used down below.

Not that anyone cares lol, but just incase anyone's curious.

My hair's day old hair (in other words not washed for a day). I like it the second day better than on the first. It's easier to style and looks better, more carefree and messy-like. That's my opinion anyway. All I did was pin back the two sides of my hair that normally frame my face with bobby pins. My hair's still wavy, since I curled it yesterday. Usually to get the messy look, I just spray on a little hairspray, then tousle and scrunch it, this is only if my hair is day old hair and previously curled.

So to start, here are the photos of the eyelashes I recently purchased on ebay. They're handmade, so the band is a little stiffer than store bought ones, but i'm ok with it and am getting quite used to it. I'm usually into more of a thicker lash, but these are really cute and show up in pictures since they have little spikes. They remind me of the cute Japanese girls with the dolly eyes. 100 pairs for around $40? Pretty good deal! The stiff band actually makes the lashes last longer, if taken care of properly. Now, I've got lashes for months! lol. i'll probably continue to buy some thicker ones as well though.

Earlier today, the bf and I decided to run some needed errands and then make a stop at Ruby's on the pier. Our friend's had given us a gift card that we had yet to use. The day could've been sunnier, but I'm not complaining, it was nice to get some fresh air. I love Ruby's! They have the most amazing malts and milkshakes, not to mention the Cherry Coke! The old-fashioned way, not the store bought cherry coke. :] I had the fish and chips with parmesan bleu cheese fries. yum! i would've taken a picture, but I was seriously hungry and pretty much forgot to. :P Anyway, here are some random photos from the beach on our way to and from Ruby's.

OH, and only in San Diego will you find a wild sea lion hanging out by parked cars near the parking lot! lol. so cute, i just wanted to squeeze him! he was loving the attention! I decided to name him Simon... Simon the Sea Lion. haha. Who wouldn't love that face?!
