Saucy.

Went out Friday night to support a friend while she modeled for a Bebe fashion show. It was a fun night, but i was clearly reminded that i was living in a "smaller town." lol. not really anything like a fashion that might have taken place in some bigger city. nonetheless, i must say, she did an awesome job, definitely stood out from the rest of the girls. as i tell myself that i will not being going out for awhile, i am reminded of one of my dearest friends visit this coming weekend. not only is she visiting, it's her birthday weekend. so scratch the idea of sitting home quietly with a cup of cocoa. i'll try and upload pictures from the show as soon as possible, who knows when that'll be though. haha.

sleepless night.

it's 1:13am and i'm still awake! for someone who works 12-14 hour days everday, that's a stretch! for once, i decided i'd post a couple of pictures and update my blog! such a lagger lol. i should really do it more, to have an outlet to vent, or just express my thoughts. because i've been emotionally, physically, and mentally drained! although, in my defense, it's not entirely my fault i can't update my blog! i'm physically incapable of doing anything after i come home from work! exhaustion takes control of me! on another note, i've finally managed to find some time to get all squared away with my schooling. i'm officially a UAA Seawolf. lol. i've received my certificate of admission for spring semester of 2011, and my credits have been transferred over. i'm excited, anxious, and nervous all at once! hopefully my life will be a little more balanced and less...well, chaotic. the restaurant has been a load of stress that's been weighing me down. with school coming to a start soon, i'll have a reason to find time for myself. how's everyone been doing? happy holidays! i'd love to hear what everyone else has been up to!

The battle is over.

Not many people know this about me, but I've been battling through a 2 and a half year long lawsuit, one that involved the death of my puppy Ralph, and a nasty pitbull who was at fault for his death. Not only did the pitbull take the life of my dog, but also bit off part of my left index finger. I went through 3 intensive surgeries to try and reconstruct my finger, but my heart definitely hurt more than my finger. The hardest part of this battle, was getting over what was done to my dog. Believe me, it was gruesome, and I was there to witness it all. Some people say I'm crazy to put myself in harms way by trying to save my dog, but if I had to do it all over again, I would. I'm glad to say that as of yesterday, I'm able to gain closure and end that chapter of my life. The case is almost completely settled, and I feel as if a load of weight has been lifted off my shoulders. To be reminded of this horrific incident every day for 2 and a half years is by far long enough. I just thought I'd this with you guys since it has been such a big part of my life for the last couple of years.

RIP Ralphie! Mama did it for you!

It's official!

We're opening up shop in the 5th Avenue Mall in Anchorage, Alaska! John and I are sooo excited! So if you're ever in the area come swing by! ;]

Whirlwind of a weekend.

It's been a crazy weekend! Finally have some time to wind down. With a few friends' birthdays, celebration of different kinds of occasions, including our comeback from Alaska, this weekend was one to remember. After 4 nights of drunken nights, I'm ready to curl up in bed with a cup of hot tea, and watch a chick flick. I've accumulated quite a few pictures from my adventures in Hawaii, and now California, but for now I'll just post a few. Hope everyone's weekend was wonderful! I'll be in touch. xoxo.

Hellohaaaa!

Tonight's the last night before we head over to San Diego. I had such an amazing time and did soooo many amazing things! i can't wait to share the photos with you! we took tons! tonight was the last day of the convention for business, and afterwards we attended the Spam Jam in Waikiki. Definitely good times while doing some people watching... interesting people at that lol. Anyway, just a quick update before i turn in to bed. I hope everyone has an awesome weekend and I'm suuuper excited to share with you guys my trip while in Hawaii!

New Photos!

My bf took these pictures in Kings Village while we roamed around the farmer's market.  I love Hawaii, and I loveeee these photos he took! They have an amazingly natural feel to them.  I'm starting to become more comfortable with him taking my photo, and the results are making me happy.  I tend to look odd or awkward when i take photos, but i'm learning to relax and pose more naturally.  Thanks papa for the amazing photos! ;]

WHOA. i sort of vanished!

So, things have been pretty hectic.  Recently, we've decided to open an L&L Hawaiian BBQ franchise in Anchorage.  As of right now, i'm in Hawaii to train and learn the ways of their franchise and also for the convention.  It's been crazy, but i'm excited and looking forward to the outcome.  anyway, i don't have any pictures from hawaii uploaded yet, but i'll be here until the 25th, then off to San Diego until the 11th of May.  I know, a crazy couple of months! anyway, here are a few pictures to hold you off until i upload ones from here.  The photos are from before i left to Hawaii... enjoy! and hopefully i'll be updating more often with some new and exciting stuff!

Ugh, so i know i've been lagging lately, but it's not my fault! i swear! i'm temporarily staying with my parents until we find a place of our own, and although the 5 acres of land and privacy are great, internet service blows! we just got internet yesterday [my parents are extremely old school, and don't bother with things like internet lol.], but since it's kind of outside of the city we were only able to get at&t's usb internet! boooooo. it blows! sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. there's a limit as to how much i can use things like youtube and hulu, and it's extremely slow compared to cable, so unfortunately i can't upload vids at home.  i've recorded a video on reviews for products i've been using which i plan to upload either tomorrow or sunday.  i'll also be working on some more hair tutorials as well.  but, all i have right now are some pictures. :[ better than nothing at least... or i hope. lol it's snowy and cold here and i miss sunny SD already! oh well, i'll enjoy it while i can. :]
